I know that this is an old topic but I don’t have anything else to write about. I finally got around to watching Freaks and Geeks. And I liked it. I’m not going to go on about all the future stars that were in it: Seth Rogan, James Franco, and Jason Segel just to name a few. Nor am I going to whine about its cancellation, because it deserved to get cancelled – it started off strong but loses its mojo halfway into the season.  What I am going to talk about is the perseverance of Judd Apatow. The guy thought he had a major hit on his hands, and it completely failed. How many times does this happen in advertising? But Judd Apatow kept creating. When I first read his story, he mentioned that he read The Artists Way. So I picked it up and quickly understood how it helped him.  Sure, it’s kind of self-help bullshit. But I definitely recommend it.
