Sham POW!

8 October 2009 No Comment

How may total gym pull up bars do you think they have sold? I know have seen that infomerical more times than I can count. Hell, on our honeymoon in Buenos Aires, turn on the tv in hotel room and there he is the same exact lame guy doing pull ups in his doorway, dubbed in Spanish.

Picture 2 - newI’m sure you have noticed lately how many strange products are being thrown in our faces… With the state of the economy / media air time and whatnot… but I was shocked to learn, right before Billy Mays passed away he was the person holding the most time / hours on tubes around the country. I knew he was all over the place but I was surprised to hear his mug was actually logging the most air time.

Anyway with Mays gone, my he rest in peace, and with Mr. ShamWow Guy staying busy with other things like beating up prostitutes… lets get in the game.

We spend so much time working on how to brand and market goods… Lets get behind our own… A few shops are getting into that world (http://www.anomalynyc.com/ip.php ).

I think its time we make our own product and put it out there. I have a few ideas and would love to work on creating and pushing our own product. I’m sure we could beat the Slanket:

ShamWow Guy Arrested for Beating Prostitute on South Beach By Kyle Munzenrieder in The Z ListFriday, Mar. 27 2009 @ 4:45PM Vince Shlomi is colloquially known as “that creepy guy from the ShamWow commercials” — you know, those dumb super-absorbent cloths that go for $19.99 plus shipping and handling (if you act now!). He’s currently on top of the infomercial world, and enjoying all the perks that come with it, like stays on South Beach and prostitutes.
