I recommend you check out Bored to Death on HBO. Wes Anderson troupe 
member Jason Schwartzman plays a struggling Brooklyn writer who uses his detective-novel book smarts to become a private detective. I like the shows retro look and tone, and I love that Zach Galifianakis plays Schwartzman’s wingman. We all know Zach is funny, but I think this part will also show off his acting chops. All the best.
