Got an idea for all you powerful people at Coke, Pepsi or Budweiser. Next year for the Super Bowl, buy all the advertising for the 3rd quarter and don’t use it. Make it your gift to the viewers—a commercial free quarter of football. Think about it. There are almost 70 ads during the game ranging between a 30 seconds to a minute. The average viewer watches about 45 minutes of commercials during the game so you’ll be giving them 15 minutes of their lives back.
