I spotted Anatomy of Design in a bookstore a few years ago and it looked cool, but I couldn¹t pull the trigger. Recently, I bought it and it has become the most popular book in my office. In fact, it’s missing right now and I haven”t been able to really read it yet. But from the few times I’ve skimmed through it, I really like it. It’s a great resource for creative inspiration.

E-reading is fundamental.

You see them everywhere. On the bus. The train. Even at the beach. And people really seem to enjoy them. But for some reason, whenever I see someone reading a book with a Kindle? It makes me kind of sad.
Listen, I’ve heard all of the arguments in favor of digital-reading (or whatever you call it). You can download books so fast! It’ll save you so much space! It’s eco!

Put down that paperback!

Why does ‘what are you reading’ always have to be a loaded question? When most people deliver those four simple words, they are usually dripping in subtext. In actuality, they are not trying to find out what particular book you are reading—they are trying to assess your intelligence. Or your sense of irony. And most likely, how good you are in bed.

I know that this is an old topic but I don’t have anything else to write about. I finally got around to watching Freaks and Geeks. And I liked it. I’m not going to go on about all the future stars that were in it: Seth Rogan, James Franco, and Jason Segel just to name a few.
