So 100 days of continuous occupation of a statue’s plinth by 2400 real people has ended. It has changed my life and that of many others. No fewer than 2,400 people from as far afield as the Shetland Islands and Penzance have occupied the plinth for sixty minutes each, picked at random from nearly 35,000 who applied.

This should be the moto of every person that works for a marketing agency. Our business is about getting people to do things – buy more, consume less, go here, join our club etc. What it isn’t, is Art. That’s not to say it can’t be beautiful or elegant, simple or sexy. Quite the opposite. Nothing sells like beauty, elegance, simplicity and sex. A great example of this (you choose which one) is the architecture on this link. Very inspirational. Enjoy.
