I’m always amazed when people say things like ‘wait, you do digital? I thought you were a brand guy.’ Or ‘I didn’t know you could do TV, I thought you only worked on print’ To me, any creative worth his salt can do it all. Me, I’ve been integrated since before integrated was even a ‘thing’. I wrote ads for animal-enthusiast magazines. I did brochures and websites for dentist offices. I wrote radio scripts for a car company. And I did TV spots for a restaurant chain. All in my first year in the business. I guess it never occurred to me that this was somehow unusual. Over the past 13 years that I’ve been in the business, I would say there isn’t a sector of industry or a segment of media that I haven’t worked on. So when, someone asks me “are you an integrated creative?” I tell them, is there any other kind?
