In the last decade , David has pioneered some of the most compelling brand experiences that have been created for the household names he has partnered with. He believes in marrying big ideas with technical savvy to create intelligent, contagious experiences that are often rich in utility. His entrepreneurial spirit is infused into everything he does and has led to a number of global industry firsts. Whether he’s launching pixel driven brand ideas or developing strategic web platforms for global brands, this creative technophile knows how to “wow” international audiences with cutting-edge original thinking.
David’s pedigree as a strategic creative thinker has been built in both London and San Francisco. He has been recognized by almost every major award with over 35 honors at Cannes Direct, Cannes Cyber Lions, One Show, Clios, New York Festivals, DMA Echo, BIMA, LIAA, International EMMA, and the John Caples awards.
His global brand building experience has been developed working with companies like IBM, Ford, Yahoo!, Intel, Microsoft, Sony PlayStation, British Telecom, Cisco Systems, Barclays, Mattel, Callaway, British Broadcasting Corporation, Virgin Atlantic, Apple, Eurostar, Motorola, and Nestle.
More recently, David has focused much of his energy on successfully building strong creative teams or reshaping the creative product and culture of large network offices. For Ogilvy West he helped to build the San Francisco team to 80 people serving five clients. After a brief period at Eleven Inc (where he identified over $1M of new revenue in his first two months) he moved on to McCann Worldgroup where he redefined the creative team and was instrumental in winning approximately $10M of new business in as many months.
Today, David is the EVP, Executive Creative Director of Pubilcis Modem West, based in San Francisco.
